Start of the 2017 Season!

We are off and running in the 2017 season! (Literally....) We had testing on Sunday February 13th and our first practice was Wednesday February 15th. There was a big snow storm the week before we were starting practice...of course...it always seems to work out like that. But, luckily, it has warmed up ever since then and has been unusually nice for February! We have been incredibly lucky with the weather so far this season and have been able to practice outside everyday!! It's been amazing and we hope this warmer weather is here to stay. The girls have been working incredibly hard as we prepare for our first game this coming Saturday vs. Williams.

We had a scrimmage day on Saturday with Tufts, Amherst, and the University of New Haven. It was good to play against some other opponents to help highlight what we are doing well and what some of the things that we need to work on are.

Only 5 more days until our first game!!! Home vs. Williams @ Noon on Saturday March 4th!

Snow storm right before season started....of course

Check the run test off the list

2016 Season Recap

The Bantams had a very successful 2016 season. They went 19-4 and although they lost to Middlebury in the National Championship 9-5, we cannot look at that and not think how truly impressive it is to make it to that final game. We graduated 6 seniors, all who were devastated to not go out on top with a win. However, over the course of their career, they had a record of 80-10, were NESCAC Champions 3 out of their 4 years, and they played every game that they possibly could have over the course of their 4 years. They were a great group that we are going to miss, but they did all they could while they were here and left a hugely impressive footprint on the program and are out in the real world now continuing to do more amazing things!

This season, the Bantams will look to stand on the shoulders of all who have come before them and continue the success of this program - on the field, in the classroom, and in the community.

Seniors (from left to right): Emily Mooney, Abby Hughes, Abby McQuillan, Martha Griffin, Ashley Stewart, and Codi Quirk.
